Looking for phenomenal pho in Tampa? I’ve got you! Pho is my ultimate comfort food—whether it’s a chilly day or I just need something warm and cozy, a good bowl of pho always hits the spot. Lately, I’ve been on a mission to track down the absolute best pho in Tampa, and let me tell you, I’ve found some amazing spots (and a couple that didn’t make the cut). But these? These are the ones you need to try!
Best Pho in Tampa
1. Bamboozle
Bamboozle is a must-visit! With locations in Channelside and Seminole Heights, this spot serves up some of the freshest, most flavorful pho around. Plus, you’ll love that they offer half-off pho on Tuesdays when you dine in!
Their menu is stacked with goodies—baos, spring rolls, banh mi, and of course, pho. My go-to? The beef pho. Their curry is also incredible, but I always end up caving and getting the pho because it’s just that good. Fresh ingredients, rich broth, and tons of flavor—you’re gonna love this spot!
2. Doodle Noodle Bar
Let me introduce you to the spot where I first fell in love with pho in Tampa: Doodle Noodle Bar. Not only is this 2D cafe super Instagram-worthy, but their food is just as amazing as the aesthetic.
The quality here is next level—fresh veggies, high-quality meats, and a broth that’s chef’s kiss. If you’re a fan of short rib pho, this is the place to get it. The beef is so tender it practically melts into the broth, making every bite rich, flavorful, and unforgettable.
If you want to switch it up, The Vong Way (a spicy stir-fry noodle dish) is another solid choice. And don’t even get me started on their drinks—the Pretty N Passionate Lemonade with strawberry popping boba is the perfect mix of sweet and tart. Trust me, you’ll want to sip on this all day!
3. Wandee Asian Fusion
From the moment you walk into Wandee Asian Fusion, you know you’re in for something special. The vibrant decor and the mouthwatering aroma hit you instantly, setting the scene for an amazing meal. Not only do they serve some of the best pho in Tampa, but their curry is next-level delicious!
We ordered the Panang curry and the pho special, and both were packed with bold, well-balanced flavors that left us wanting more. But their menu doesn’t stop there—expect everything from fried rice and noodle dishes like pad Thai and pad see ew to beef bulgogi and other incredible fusion dishes.
This spot truly lives up to its fusion name, bringing together flavors from Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Laotian cuisines!
4. Saigon Deli
If you want authentic Vietnamese food without the frills, visit Saigon Deli. This place is a staple for classic Vietnamese dishes, serving up everything from pho and vermicelli bowls to grab-and-go packaged goodies.
The second you walk in, you can tell it’s the real deal. No fancy decor, no gimmicks—just solid, flavorful food. And the best part? It’s right next to one of the best Asian markets in Tampa, so after you enjoy your pho, you can stock up on ingredients to try making it at home!
5. Fusion Bowl
Smack in the heart of downtown Tampa, Fusion Bowl is the perfect spot for a quick yet satisfying Vietnamese meal. The vibe is modern and relaxed, with the option for sidewalk seating if you want to enjoy your meal outside.
Their pho is comforting and flavorful, but don’t sleep on their banh mi either—it’s a solid choice if you’re craving something lighter. And if you love fun drinks, you need to try their cold teas! Whether it’s milk tea or Thai tea, they have tons of flavors to choose from. Oh, and they serve the cutest teddy tea, where the ice cube is shaped like a little teddy bear made of tea. Adorable!
6. Simply Pho
Simply Pho was a recent find, and wow—we were seriously impressed. Their menu is huge, but obviously, we had to try their signature pho.
We went with the filet mignon pho, and it was absolute perfection. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every spoonful was so good!
One cool thing about Simply Pho is that they offer their pho in two sizes—regular and extra-large (unless you get the Kobe pho). Since Remi and I always share one, it was nice to have the XL option, though honestly, we still couldn’t finish it!
If you’re hunting for some of the best pho in Tampa, this spot definitely deserves a visit.
7. Pho An Hoa
Similar to Saigon Deli, Pho An Hoa is another no-frills, authentic spot for pho in Tampa. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the rich, comforting aroma of slow-simmered broth, and you just know you’re in for a solid bowl of pho.
We ordered the Tai, Gau pho (rare steak and brisket), and it did not disappoint. The flavors were simple yet deep, exactly what you want in a traditional Vietnamese pho. The rare steak was perfectly tender, and the brisket added a rich, hearty depth to the broth. Plus, the service was super quick, which is always a bonus!
