Pete’s Ybor
Let’s kick things off with the beloved Pete’s Ybor. Imagine a place so warm and inviting, it feels like your second home but with better coffee and bagels that shoot your taste buds straight to cloud nine!
Originating from the charming streets of St. Pete, this gem has hopped over the bridge, and I’m so happy to have ’em!
If you’re on the hunt for a picturesque afternoon escape, Pete’s Ybor is the spot. They truly have some of the best bagels in Tampa. Couple those with their divine coffee, and you know Pete’s is the kind of place where hours slip by.
Their outdoor patio area is perfect on a nice day, and they even have a little dog park so you are encouraged to bring your furry friends!
22nd Street Coffee
When it comes to honoring the rich Cuban culture in Tampa, 22nd Street Coffee stands out. This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a cafe that captures the essence of Ybor’s vibrant heart. Whether you’re laser-focused on your laptop or in the midst of a never-ending catch-up with friends, the atmosphere here adapts to your needs.
I got their coño with pumpkin spice and it was phenomenal! The perfect amount of sweetness and it actually gave me a coffee buzz (my caffeine addiction has led me to believe that was no longer possible).
Trust me when I tell you that getting their Cuban sandwich is an absolute must! It’s one of the best Cuban sandwiches in Tampa.
The Attic Cafe
The newest addition to the list of top coffee shops in Ybor City is The Attic Cafe. Fresh from their relocation from downtown Tampa, they’ve decided to nestle in the historic walls of Ybor, bringing a new vibe to an old soul.
The Attic Cafe is the type of place where every visit feels like a breath of fresh air. With its eclectic décor and a community-focused spirit, it’s swiftly becoming the go-to corner for creatives and professionals alike. Your search for that perfect nook, where both ideas and espresso shots flow endlessly, is finally over!

Ybor City Coffee and Tea
Ybor City Coffee and Tea is located inside The Bunker, a historic building that has been a part of Ybor City since 1926! The location is within walking distance to several other small businesses and even the Ybor City Saturday Market.
There is plenty of seating indoors including comfy couches where you can relax and mingle with friends, and a few cafe tables outside if you’re looking to enjoy the lovely Florida weather. You can grab a handcrafted coffee or espresso drink, or something from their ever-expanding tea bar.
The Cafe at Ten Rooms
Ybor recently got its very own food hall! It’s such a great addition to the area. I was so excited to check out The Cafe at Ten Rooms, and it didn’t disappoint! They are known for artisanal third-wave coffee and house-crafted bites.
This charming cafe offers plenty of seating and a cozy atmosphere. All of their syrups are house-made, and the orange mocha is absolutely fabulous. Not to mention their delicious baked goods; their orange loaf is simply extraordinary.
Cafe Quiquiriqui
Last but not least, the quaint and quirky Cafe Quiquiriqui which is located inside the illustrious Hotel Haya. This spot isn’t just a cafe; it’s like stumbling upon a hidden secret garden that serves excellent coffee. The cafe is so lovely and aesthetic, plus their cafe con leche is rich and creamy, making it a great option!
If you want a bite to eat be sure to snag one of their empanadas, pastalitos, paninis, or other baked goods.
