As someone who’s been lucky enough to call Tampa home for a while now, I can confidently say that exploring the markets in Tampa is one of the best ways to experience the city! Even if you’re just looking for something fun and free to do, strolling through these markets—soaking up the lively atmosphere, discovering unique finds, and supporting local vendors—is always a win!
Markets in Tampa
1. Indie Flea Ybor
Location: 1920 E 7th Ave, Tampa, FL 33605
When: The second Sunday of every month 12 PM – 4 PM
If you’re looking for a market with personality, The Indie Flea in Ybor is the spot. This market is a total hidden gem filled with handmade crafts, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind designs. The venue? The stunning 1920 Ybor City building, which adds even more charm to the whole experience.
Every time I go, I find something cool—whether it’s a cute handmade candle, unique jewelry, or the perfect little home decor piece. Plus, since it’s right in Ybor, it’s the perfect excuse to make a day of it! Explore the neighborhood, and check out some local activities, cafes, shops, breweries, and restaurants!
And if you ever find yourself across the bridge, Indie Flea also does a St. Pete market on the first Sunday of each month.
2. Heights Night Market
Location: Armature Works 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602
When: Once a month, dates will vary. From 6 PM – 10 PM
There’s just something about markets at night, and the Heights Night Market at Armature Works delivers the perfect vibe. This monthly evening market brings together an ever-changing lineup of artisans, makers, and local creatives selling handmade goods, jewelry, artwork, and more.
It’s the kind of place where you can wander for hours, sip on a craft cocktail, snack on something amazing from a food truck, and maybe even catch some live music. Oh, and don’t miss out on the cutest little free photo booth—because obviously, you need a pic to remember your perfect market night.
The best part? Since it’s at Armature Works, you’re right by some of Tampa’s best restaurants along the Riverwalk. So once you’re done shopping, you can grab a bite and keep the fun going.

3. Second Sunday Artwalk + Vendor Fair
Location: Armature Works 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602
When: The second Sunday of every month 12 PM – 4 PM
If you love artsy markets, the Second Sunday Art Walk + Vendor Fair at Armature Works is a must. This one brings together a lineup of talented artists and makers, all showcasing their handmade goods, jewelry, and artwork inside the cool, air-conditioned comfort of the Gathering space.
But wait—it gets even better! Outside in the Courtyard and Western Walkway, you’ll find a full-blown art walk curated by Stella Gallerie, featuring local and regional artists, live paintings, and some seriously cool pieces for sale.
Once you’re done checking out the market, take a relaxing stroll along the Tampa Riverwalk. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a Sunday in Tampa.
4. Hyde Park Fresh Market
Location: 1602 W. Snow Circle, Tampa, FL
When: The first Sunday of every month from 10 AM – 3 PM
One of the best things to do in Hyde Park is spend a Sunday strolling through the Hyde Park Fresh Market! This popular market in Tampa has such a friendly, welcoming vibe, and the vendors? Top-notch. With a focus on locally sourced goods, you’ll find everything from farm-fresh produce and artisanal foods to beautifully crafted handmade goods.
And since you’re already in one of Tampa’s most charming neighborhoods, make a whole day of it! Browse the cute shops, grab brunch at one of Hyde Park’s amazing restaurants, and save room for dessert—because you’re definitely going to want a sweet treat before you leave.
5. Cactus Moon/3rd Thursday Tampa
Location: Cactus Moon Plant & Gift Shop 4206 Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, FL 33603
When: The second Saturday of every month 4 PM – 8 PM
If you’re looking for one of the best things to do in Tampa at night, you need to check out the Cactus Moon Market. This one is a total vibe. Picture this—twinkling lights, live music, and a dreamy garden setting right at the Cactus Moon plant shop.
This market features over 25 of Tampa Bay’s best small businesses, bringing together some truly unique artisans and makers. Whether you’re looking for handmade jewelry, one-of-a-kind artwork, or the perfect plant baby to take home, this market is full of treasures.
And the best part? The plant shop stays open late on market nights, so you can keep the fun going and browse even more!
6. The Market at Water Street Tampa
Location: Water Street Tampa, FL
When: The third Sunday of each month from 10 AM – 3 PM
If you love a market that mixes fresh finds with city vibes, then The Market at Water Street Tampa is calling your name. This market has a little bit of everything—farm-fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local vendors showcasing their best work.
It’s also one of the best farmers markets in Tampa, so if you’re looking for high-quality fruits, veggies, and gourmet goodies, this is where you’ll find them.
While you’re in the area, grab a bite at one of the amazing restaurants on Water Street! There are so many great spots, but if you need a rec, Predalina is one of my absolute favorites.
7. Sunshine Market at Midtown Tampa
Location: 3740 Midtown Drive, Tampa, FL
When: Every 4th Saturday of each month from 11 AM – 3 PM
Need something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon? Head to the Sunshine Market at Midtown Tampa! Just like the name suggests, this market is bright, lively, and full of energy.
With over 40 local vendors, you’ll find fresh produce, gourmet treats, and handcrafted goods, all while soaking in the sunny vibes of Midtown. Each booth feels like a little ray of sunshine, highlighting Tampa’s amazing local talent.

8. Sunset Market at Midtown Tampa
Location: 3725 Midtown Drive, Tampa, FL
When: First Thursday of each month from 6 PM – 10 PM
As the sun sets and the sky transforms into dreamy shades of pink and orange, the Sunset Market at Midtown Tampa creates the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, fun-filled Thursday evening. With live entertainment, local vendors, and a lively atmosphere, this market is the ultimate way to ease into the weekend.
Bring your friends, family, or even your four-legged sidekick, and enjoy an evening of browsing handcrafted goods, indulging in tasty bites, and soaking up the community spirit that makes this market such a standout!
9. Seminole Heights Sunday Market
Location: Hillsborough High School, 5000 N Central Ave, Tampa, FL
When: The second Sunday of each month from 10 AM -2 PM
Seminole Heights Sunday Market has everything from farm-fresh produce and handmade crafts to artisanal foods and unique finds! This market truly embodies the eclectic and artsy vibe of the Seminole Heights neighborhood.
One of the highlights is Botany Cats! This adorable little setup is a cozy camper-turned-cat-haven where you can snuggle up with the sweetest kitties looking for their forever homes. All it takes is a small $5 donation to get in on the purr-filled cuddles.
Even if you’re not bringing home a new furry friend, you’re definitely not leaving empty-handed! We walked away with fresh guacamole and a bottle of freshly squeezed juice—the perfect market haul. And if you’re still feeling snacky, Seminole Heights is packed with amazing restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops just waiting to be explored!
10. Sunday Market at Westshore Marina District
Location: 4900 Bridge St, Tampa, FL 33611
When: Held every 4th Sunday, all year long. October – May 9 AM – 2 PM and June – September 9 AM – 1 PM
If you’re looking for a chill Sunday vibe, the Sunday Market at Westshore Marina District is the spot. With over 70 vendors selling everything from fresh produce to handcrafted goodies and tasty food, it’s a total win!
I snagged some super cute non-tarnish waterproof jewelry from XMTX Collections—definitely keep an eye out for her at other Tampa markets too! This one’s a little smaller than others, but that just means fewer crowds and more space to enjoy everything!
